The  Art of The Game

October 18th, 2025 12-5PM

Presented in partnership with OK Contemporary

The Art of the Game is a community celebration where basketball and contemporary art connect. This 3v3 tournament takes it back to the roots in more ways than one — honoring the art of the game outside, where it all began.

Middle school, high school and adult teams will compete on the basketball court installation by Hock E Aye Vi Edgar Heap of Birds, Neufs for Oklahoma Autumn , transforming it into a living canvas of play.

With a live DJ, food and halftime contests, the day celebrates basketball not only as sport, but as culture, expression and community.

MISSION

The J.O. Foundation uses the game of basketball to create a classroom—impacting lives on and off the court.

Our mission comes to life through on-court activations and community-based educational experiences that go beyond the game. With wisdom keepers and community leaders guiding the way, we celebrate culture, teach true history, and address today’s challenges—empowering youth to use their voices and platforms for positive change. We also foster healthy relationships, support mental well-being, and equip youth and families with practical tools in career development, financial literacy, civic engagement, and service.

Through strategic partnerships, workshops, and community initiatives, we create spaces for connection, leadership, and growth—demonstrating how basketball can be a powerful catalyst for lasting change.

The Jayden Oliver Foundation was formed to engage, inspire, and develop children and communities on and off the court.

At The J.O. Foundation, we are dedicated to inspiring a cultural shift where “Its cool to care” becomes the heartbeat of a compassionate society. We aim to ignite a movement that transforms the world, one caring action at a time. We champion the idea that “It’s cool to care” who we are and where we come from. It’s cool to care about our physical and mental health. It’s cool to care about community, our history and sacred Mother Earth. "It’s cool to care about life, our goals and our personal and career dreams.

It's cool to care, period. We encourage a culture of wanting to go all in for what you care about and “Remembering WHY” along the way.
